3.ML.1- Apply the elements of music and musical techniques in order to sing and play music with accuracy
and expression.
*1.1: Apply expressive qualities when singing and playing instruments.
*1.2: Use accurate pitch to sing major scale tones.
*1.3: Create question and answer musical patterns using the pentatonic scale.
*1.4: Apply changes to musical examples based on the elements of music.
3.ML.2- Interpret the sound and symbol systems of music.
*2.1: Interpret rhythm patterns including notes and rests in 2/4 and 4/4 meter signatures.
*2.2: Interpret visual representation of the major scale.
*2.3: Classify classroom instruments into self-selected categories.
3.ML.3- Create music using a variety of sound and notational sources
*3.1: Create rhythmic compositions using whole, half and quarter notes, half and quarter rests and beamed eighth notes
